Maddy (the cream colored one) playing with the puppy Banshee (the black one)
Maddy is usually pretty rough when playing with other dogs. I’m surprised to see how gentle she’s being with the puppy who keep gnawing on her neck and ears.
Side note: I keep a comforter on the floor so that in case they roughhouse a little too much, the puppy won’t get hurt.

Most well socialized adult dogs are very forgiving with puppies—so that’s probably why she’s playing so nicely. As Banshee gets a bit older, you’ll probably notice when her “puppy permit” runs out and the nipping and such won’t be tolerated as much.
